What a great way to spend a sunny Saturday evening - perfoming at the 'Music In A Field' festival in the depths of the Oxfordshire countryside.

This is a lovely, intimate festival which we've now played for the last few years - from our first performance where we opened the show, to last night were we 'headlined'!

They were also raising funds for BBOWT - Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust, so we're very happy to support them - a big 'win' all round!

Two brilliant gigs this week...

Saturday 23rd May - 21st birthday party in Sibford, Oxfordshire.

What a night -  a lovely family, a great group of friends, and a big marqee on a tennis court in which to play. Thank you for making it a really enjoyable night for us. We loved watching you all dancing along - and the young lady of the moment joining us to sing out a couple of belters!!

Satruday 30th May - Afternoon gig at Horatio's Garden. Stoke Mandeville hospital

So, nice to see so many people singing along and enjoying our music in whichever way they could - made us all very proud to have given them an enjoyable distracton from the challenges of long-term hospital treatment.  

Yep - following the success of our last fundraising evening, we're doing it again.

In conjunction with Naphill Tennis Club, we're putting on an evening of music and dance to raise funds for both Cancer Research UK, and the tennis club.

We'll be playing, there'll be a raffle, bring your own drinks and nibbles - should be a great evening. Let's see if we can surpass last year's total.

We'll be at Naphill Village Hall, tickets will soon be available and we look forward to seeing you there.

"I attended Napfest at Naphill last weekend and had the pleasure of seeing local rock group Red and Grey open the festival by performing a vibrant one-hour set in the late afternoon. This five-member band—featuring two talented female vocalists, a lead guitarist, bassist and drummer—specialises in charity gigs, bringing both passion and purpose to their performances.

Their set showcased an impressive range of songs, from classic rock staples by Fleetwood Mac and The Rolling Stones to Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, The Wombats and the Doobie Brothers, offering something for everyone. The vocalists stood out with powerful, well-blended harmonies that gave their sound a fresh and distinctive edge. The band played with tight cohesion, putting their own unique stamp on each track while maintaining a clear and authentic rock feel.

With over 25 years of experience, Red and Grey brought a confident stage presence and a polished, professional energy to the performance. Their punchy, upbeat style resonated strongly with the crowd, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere."

Having been asked to open the event, we had a great time - an hour of playing stuff we love - and so did the crowd.
